What was your proudest roller derby moment?
Being elected to the serve on the board of directors at our last AGM – as a relatively new member of the league, knowing that my fellow skaters trusted me to do such an important job was a real highlight for me.

How did you first discover roller derby / what convinced you to join?
Back in 2010, I spent a year living in Washington D.C. One day, I was dragged on a roadtrip to Baltimore to watch DC Rollergirls take on Charm City. I had never heard of roller derby before, but I was totally taken with it. Scare Force One, one of DC Rollergirls intraleague teams, was the first team I supported and they’ll always have a special place in my heart!

Favourite player to watch / learn from?
My favourite skater to learn from is the very talented, Elasta. I wouldn’t be the skater I am without her – she’s an amazing coach and we’re very lucky to have her. But I have to say that – she’s my wife ;)
